Team members have been educated from leading Australian and international universities at both the Undergraduate and Post-Graduate levels.  Strong track records are typically obtained from investment banking, strategy consulting, private equity firms and large corporations including such firms as Bain & Company, McKinsey & Company, BCG, Macquarie Group and Goldman Sachs.

Bryant Plavsic - Managing Director

Bryant's prior business career includes CFO and Executive Director of Adept Solutions Ltd, Partner of Bain & Company, founding partner of GEM Consulting/ Poynton & Partners, five years as a consultant with McKinsey & Company, and Head of Strategy at Perpetual Limited.

Throughout his consulting career, Bryant has served clients across Food and Beverages, Financial Institutions, Manufacturing, Retailing, Media and Technology in the areas of strategy, corporate finance, organisation, performance improvement and mergers & acquisitions.

Bryant has a Master of Philosophy in Economics from the University of Oxford.  He also has a Bachelor of Commerce (major in Economics and Finance) with first class honours from the University of New South Wales where he received the University Medal for the top graduate of his year and the Bankers Trust Australia Scholarship.  Bryant was School Captain, Dux and Sportsman of the Year during secondary school, as well as representing Australia in Indoor Soccer at youth level.

John Peacocke - Managing Director

John has over 20 years' experience in private equity, corporate finance and strategy advisory.  He has worked in private equity at Next Capital, principal of a private investment firm, founding partner of GEM Consulting/ Poynton & Partners, consultant with Bain & Company and McKinsey & Company, analyst with Macquarie Bank, and engineer and bomb disposal officer with the New Zealand Army and United Nations.

John has experience across many industries, with particular strengths in financial services, property, infrastructure, resources and energy.  He has served on a range of local and offshore boards including infrastructure, retail, agribusiness, manufacturing, technology commercialisation, property and not-for-profit.

John has a Masters of Business Administration from AGSM and Wharton (with Distinction), BA (Economics) from the University of New South Wales and Royal Military College Duntroon (first in class), Graduate Certificate in Applied Engineering Practice and is a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors (GAICD, Order of Merit).
